On October 3, 1995, football star O.J Simpson was tried for the murder of his girlfriend. This was an extremely popular trial and was broadcasted on tv. The judge put him through a lot and he was found guilty and served nine years in prison and later released on parol in 2017.

In 1993, Lyle and Erik Menendez were tried for the murder of their parents in 1996. They said they were being molested by their father and treated poorly. They murdered them and spent most of the money from the parents because they were wealthy. They were found guilty and are currently serving life in prison.

The Olympic Park Bombing occurred on July 27, 1996, at Olympic Park in Atlanta. A homemade pipe bomb was left in a bag and exploded among a crowd of people and injured 112 of them and killed 1. The bomber was found to be Eric Rudolph.

The NATO Bombing of Yugoslavia killed 1,000 members of the Yugoslav security members on. Also, in addition, it killed almost 600 civilians. It destroyed houses, schools, churches, etc. This bombing was led by the USA in NATO. The airstrikes lasted almost 3 months from March 24-June 10 1999

The Columbine Shooting happened on April 20, 1999. The shooters were Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold. They did this horrific act because of the treatment they were receiving from the other students. They penetrated the school and shot and killed multiple students and teachers before later killing themselves.
