The first air conditioned car was invented by Packard. However, it had to be controlled in the hood of the car. So if you got too cold you would have to pull over and pop the hood to turn it off. Through out the many years of inventing new ways, we have come up with great new cars that actually have air conditioning built right in to the dash board. Everyone now a days all use airconditioning in their cars. The technology has come a long way since 1939.
