    Residential schools were created by the Catholic church to try and convert Indigenous children to be apart of the Catholic church but they would beat the children and treat them terribly. Most of them died during this time frame and they were kept until they were 18 years of age

    The Spanish Flu was a deadly virus that started in 1918 and killed fifty thousand Canadians. The Spanish Flu was worldwide though and caused fifty million deaths. It was reported to be in Canada when visitors came to Canada

    Black Tuesday is when the stock market fell about 30 points which means that the stock market lost it's value about 12% and that is when the beginning of the Great Depression started

    Bennett Buggy's were created during the great depression when things were much more expensive and the market dropped. The motor, windows, and sometimes doors were taken off the buggies and they were pulled by horses. They most likely did this to save money
