Tutankhamen, known informally by modern readers as King Tut, was the tenth pharaoh of the 18th Dynasty. He ruled from 923 to 914 B.C.

Ay was the grand vizier under Pharaoh Tutankhamen, and he formed an uprising, outing Tutankhamen in 918 B.C. Ay was the eleventh pharaoh of the 18th Dynasty from 918 to 904 B.C.

Horemheb gained much power under the kings that he had served under, and so after Ay died, Horemheb ruled. However, he was not officially pharaoh, although he held the power. He ruled as a general from 904 to 897 B.C.

Horemheb finally gained power and became the twelfth and terminal pharaoh of the 18th Dynasty in 897 B.C. He ruled from 897 to 870 B.C. In the Hebrew Bible, he is known as Zerah (Hera-em-heb = Hera = Zerah).
