Since the men have been protesting there was a shortage of farm workers which slowed the food production down. The woman that have also been protesting for the right to vote have been showing the willingness to work on farms. By December The women of the WLAA and other oganizations got through to the "Chairman of Potatoes" and then women were finally allowed to work on farms.
