The Tea Act gave the company the right to sell tea to the colonies free of the taxes.The importance of this is five laws were created as punishment to keep control of the colonist after the Boston tea party. -
Lexington and Concord
Lexington and Concord battles pushed to the American Revolution. British set out from Boston to capture rebel leaders.Colonist were warned so they were able to escape. The importance of this is the Americans won the battle and the British went back to Boston. -
The Decleration of Independence
A paper signed by delegates listing complaints about the king. They were wondering why the colonist should break apart from England. The importance of this is this declared all Americas independence from the British.
