  • Arrival at Cape Henry

    This was their journey at sea and the three ships when they arrived at Cape Henry at the Virginia coast.
  • Bearing the New York Capitol

    Henry Hudson sailed upon the New York harbor. He was in with the Dutch a lot and later on had the colonization of the Dutch there along with the river being named after him.
  • First Slaves

    In 1617 this is when the first slaves came to America.
  • Smallpox Disease

    The smallpox broke out in the Massachusetts Bay Area and nearly wiped out the whole population for a year. Smallpox hit 90% of the people that lived there.
  • The House of Burgesses

    In Jamestown the House of Burgesses was taken place being known as the first representative assembly.
  • The First Permanent Mission

    Awatobi was the first permanent mission from the Franciscan people who came from Mexico. They had missions in the Hopi Indian Tribe lands and wanted to carry out settlements and missions.

    On this day Winthrop's eleven ships sailed fleet. The Puritans had set up colonizes and started to colonize in America so passengers in England were leaving to come join them.

    The Peach Tree War was a first attack on New Amsterdam and Pavonia. The Indians found victory which forced many Dutch settlers away.

    This was the day when the Revolution began to lead to the Bill of Rights.
