We assume that it would take a least a couple days for Fox to make a new Batsuit for Bruce. They just dont pop out of thin air. Alfred comes up with a viable excuse for Bruce to skip town for a few days, setting sail with the Russian Ballet. -
Bruce go abroad and brings back Lau
Bruce, as Batman, set sail with the ballet, new suit in hand and a plan to get them back and captures Lau back and brings him to MCU, delivered to Gordon. Dent, Gordon and Rachel get information out of him. They keep him in the holding cells of MCU. -
Dead Fake Batman, Dent's fundrasier, Comm.Loeb dies
Gordon brings in the entire Mob from what Lau has told them. The Joker kills one of the fake Batmen to lure the real Batman out.. Dent and Rachel go to Bruce's fundraiser for Dent. Joker crashes the party. Commissioner Loeb and the Judge hearing the case of the mob are killed. Joker is after Dent, Batman safely locks him away and saves Rachel as she is dropped out the window by the Joker. -

Gordon finds clues with Batman that Major Anthony Garcia is next in line on the Joker's hit list, possibly at the late commissioner Loeb's memorial the next day. -

The mayor is shot at but Gordon jumps in front of him to save him. Gordon is shot and presumed dead. Dent goes over a random crazy guy for information, Batman goes after Maroni and Gerard Stephens has to tell Barbara Gordon that her husband is dead. Batman tells Dent that he is going to turn himself in. Bruce then tells Rachel the same thing, hoping that she will take him back now that Batman wont be apart of his life. (yeah right). -

He is taken to MCU and then SWAT comes to transfer him to prison(likely blackgate). There is a car chase with the SWAT van, The Tumbler, and the Joker in a (S)laughter semi-truck. Dent holds a press conference - Gordon returns
Joker threatens to blow up a hospital if Coleman Reese tells Gotham who Batman really is, Gordon goes to Reese's aide to protect him, as the Joker told people to kill him or he will blow up the hospital. The Joker sneaks into the Gotham General and helps Dent escape, convincing him to take revenge. The van Gordon and Reese are in is saved by Bruce Wayne's (vain) attempt to catch the light. you can tell Gordon doesn't likely believe him. Gotham General Explodes and Dent is found to be missing. -
