Travis was given his first drumset from his mother, which he used until he was 15.

Travis began taking drumming more serious. By the time he was a senior in highschool he toured locally with a band named Feeble.

The band "Feeble" Disbanded and Travis found a new band named the "AquaBats".

At this time "The Aquabats" were invited to tour with blink 182 as their opening act. Blink 182 kicked their original drummer (Scott Raynor) out due to a serious drinking problem. Tom Delonge and Mark Hoppus noticed Travis and invited him to fill for Scott. Travis learned 20 songs in under 2 hours in order to play the show. After that Blink 182 invited Travis to be their permanent drummer.

Travis joined just in time to record Blink 182's new album

This was Blink 182's breakthrough album which would later end up selling 14 million worldwide. This gained Travis popularity.

Blink 182 went on an "indefinate Hiatus" which means they are taking a break from each other and dont know for how long. They pretty much broke up.

Travis and DJ AM or Adam Goldstein got in a plane crash heading to a show. Travis and DJ AM suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns

Blink 182 announced they are back together at the Grammys. It was said that some of the reason to them getting back together was the plane crash of Travis.

Travis Barker's friend and colleague DJ AM died of an overdose of perscription drugs.

Travis is released his solo album "Can the Drummer Get Some". Blink 182's new album will be released this summer.
