A group of English school boys on a plane crash on an unknown island.

The boys find out that no one else is on the island including no adults. The vote on who will lead them to be rescued. The canadates are Jack, leader of the choir and Ralph, determined leader. They boys voted for Ralph as their leader.

The boys become frighten of a snake like beast that only the little ones have seen.

Simon returns from the top of the mountain to tell the boys about the dead body but no one listens. He is attacked by the boys like a pig.

After no one wants Jack as cheif he leaves the tribe to start his own. Boys sneek over to join his tribe and to kill pigs. Jack's tribe is based around a dictatorship.

As Jack is running for his life from Jack's tribe, he enters the beach to find rescue teams there to save the boys who survived.
