Reform Movements
Unions were banned in Britain in 1799 the Combination Act was passed outlawing Unions. In 1824 in was reappealed and in 1825 Britain unhappily tolerated unions. -
Abolition of Slavery
William Wilberforce fough for the abolition of slavery. He got a bill passed in Parliament to end trade of slaves. After leaving Parliament, he still foguth to end slavery and it was finally ended in 1833 -
