    baby takes first steps at around 10-11 months. some children may walk later than other children because their parents may carry them in their arms too much. consulting the childs doctor may be a necessary step if they havent started walking at 15 months.

    the child begins to express on to two word phrases & they learn the names of items. at this age, the child has a vocabulary of about 6-10 words. they can also follow simple commands such as give, come, stop and show me.

    eating with a spoon or fork has developed at 2 years of age. they gain more control of their hands and feet which allows them to be able to hold spoons or forks.
