    Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his Wife were killed by a Serbian Nationalist Gavrilo Princip. What made it worst was that she was pregnant. As far as the Austrian people were concern a Serbian just killed 3 Royal family members. This all happened because the driver turned on the wrong street. Mexico said no and this action and Britain told the U.S. turning america even more pro-war. Mexico knew that if they did this America would surly attack them first.

    The British launched a full scale invasion. They planed to use their secret weapon, the tank. the tank was made to look like a water tank to avoid suspicion. 476 tanks were used with enormous success. They could brake the dead lock of trench warfare.

    The U.S. sent about 85,000 troops to fight in the second battle of Marne. This greatly helped the allies. Without the U.S.A joining the war the allies wound have most likely lost. America also sent other troop else were to help out.

    This in inspired frank. He remembered this small thing for a very long time.

    Frank was escorting German prisoners and he missed his Couch. He had to ride with the Prisoners. A French guard took a shot at the Cart that he was in. Frank later found that man who was shot at a plantation. That man gave him a free bag of coffee.

    The exact day and month is unknown. The French president deiced to give all remaining WWI veterans a Medal in 1999. This is one of the highest Medal that are given from the French. This medal come to be in 1802. Frank was the longest living WWI veteran.
