Theodore Edward Beach joined Battery F,121st Field Artiliary, 32nd Division. He served July 15,1917 untill May 19,1919 after returning from france on the Battleship Georgia arriving in Boston May 12,1919.

March 4, Left for trip with fine weather.no lights ,no smoking after dawn. Smoke in mess hall and all movies and listening to the band.March 5, a few people were sick,all were on deck.March 6 going to be in war zone by that night. March 7, no special convoy.

March 11, A sub shot a torpedo at Theodores sub at 8 bells while he was on gaurd and they changed their course so fast he nearly fell down stairs and all mess tables slid across the floor.Dropped several depth bombs and got the sub.

March 15, bread and cheese camp. Burn mess and kuc koo bunch of eng. kitchen detail and glad as he swiped enugh to eat. He stayed in the camp for a few weeks and went to South Hampton and got on a small speed boat and went to Le Harve.
