The Death’s Head Hussars were used as military devices, not only in Germany, but England and France too. They wore hats that had skull and cross bones on them with the words “or glory” placed underneath, which meant death or glory.

One of these attacks was the German 8th &10th armies against the Russian 10th army that was in Masurian Lake, that in result of their successful offensive, pushed the Russians eastward. The battle of the lake was considered to be 3 to 1. The Russians had “withdrawed” in an orderly manner.

After the battle, Salient depending on German aid to maintain their war effort.

Somme was a very bloody battle with 57,000 casualties alone on the first day. By the end of the battle there were 1.5 million casualities. The British and the French fought against Germany in this battle.

The Gemans wanted Mexico on their side in case the US decided to enter the war. The Mexicans declined their offer. Soon after, the British got knowledge of this telegraph.

America eventually joined the side of Britain and France. US ships begun to be sunk by Germans, one of the ships that was sunk was the William P. Frye. The German government apologized saying it was a huge mistake.

Alexander Kerensky was the one in charge of the Russian Government at that time.The government had little supporters, so the Bolsheviks went into the Palace and arrested lots of the members of the government.
