Russia Withdraws from WW1
Russia deals with the revolutions going through the country and loses social and political power. The Soviet Union opped to stepping out of the World War. The people in Russia then started to rebel even more because of how their country was being displayed. -

The world war began in 1914 after the assassination of Archduke from Austria. The allies began to team up against other countries and a lot of people died. The world war then ended in an agreement that nobody lost or won but rather ended on good terms. -
Sinking of Lusitania
On May 7th, 1915, A German U-boat had torpedoed its way through the British owned Lusitania. The event led to many negative things taking place and also many people died. From about 1,128 people died from this incident and 128 of them were Americans. -
Battle of Gallipoli
The Battle of Gallipoli took place in 1916. It was a battle made up of the allied powers and Russia. An attempted attack was made on the allied powers but failed. The allied powers continued to dominant wars collecting resources but also losing numbers. -
Battle of Verdun
The Battle of Verdun took place in February in 1916. The battle was between Germany and the French. The French endured many casualties but Germany ended up winning the battle and gaining more assets. -

The Russian Revolution was a very violent time for the Russian people. Due to the Russian Revolution, you could see many changes in the Country along with the change of name to the Soviet Union. Two revolutions went through Russia and ended the imperial rule. -

Assassination of Archduke Ferdinand
It was said that when Austria's Archduke Ferdinand was assassinated, World War 1 broke out. Archduke was in Sarajevo checking out their military attributes. Sarajevo had been annexed by Austria-Hungary in 1908. The people of Sarajevo heard of Archduke visit, they then try to construct a plot to kill Archduke. -
Armistice
World War 1, one of history's most dangerous and well-known battles. The war was made of Allies vs the Central Powers, the war went on for four years and both sides were exhausted. The war then concluded with both sides agreeing to an Armistice, not a surrender, but an agreed end to the war on both sides. After fighting constantly for years, both sides were tired of losing people, materials and just fighting overall. -
Treaty of Versailles
Germany along with other countries agreed to peace. The treaty was made between allies but once Hitler came into power it broke. He began to change things for Germany causing many conflicts. -
League of Nations first meeting
On January 16, 1920, after The Treaty of Versailles, The league of nations, for the first time has a council meeting. Within the meeting, the few countries all discussed political and economic strategies towards growing not only their wealth but the population in the countries along with resources. -

The Battle of Somme took place in 1961. The 141 day long battle resulted in many lives lost but also the British winning. The battle consisted of the British and French.
