The war ended for a couple of reasons. Germany loses the war because the U.S came into the war. Also because at the end, they were trapped and the only move is for the central powers to surrender. -
The Treaty of Versailles
The Treaty of Versailles was a very important treaty. What the Allies did was they blamed it all on Germany. Germany did not like that. (thats what led to WW2.) The germans were in a financial crisis after that. I mean, they had nothing. they could hold only 100,000 troops. Thats why the Treaty of Versailles really hurt the Germans.
