World War I begins
WW1 started between France, Ireland, Britain, and Russia (called the triple entente) against Germany and Austria-Hungary. The cause was assignation of Archduke Franz Ferdinand from Austria hungry who was killed by the Blackhand. -

This note was made so the Germans would would purpose alliance with mexico since the United States entered war the Germans needed another alliance.This gave mexico a chance to reclaim land that was lost in the Mexican American war but the Mexican were already fighting in a civil war themselves and they knew that they could't win another war with America again. -

Eisenhower officially changed Armistice day to veterans day who also served as the 34 president of United States. -
Treaty of Versailles signed
This brought WW1 to an end between Germany and allied forces. the action of German signing the treaty was that Germany had lost land, humiliation and anger towards Germany allies and pay 6.6 billion for reparations so that the economy would soon recover. -
First meeting of the League of Nations
First worldwide Intergovernmental organization and council meeting in Paris to officially end the war and ensure world peace called League of Nations ( LN/LoN ), Germany, japan, Italy, Spain and others withdrew from the league. the league lasted for at least 26 years, it failed its primary goal which was to to prevent any future wars.
