    On June 28th, 1914 the Archduke of Austria, Franz Ferdinand was assassinated. He was assassinated by Gavrilo Princip of Servia. This event was kind of the pushing point of the war and pretty much started the war. (WW1)

    On July 28th, 1914 Austria-Hungary declared war on Serbia. They declared war on Serbia because, Serbian people killed their Archduke. So Austria-HUngary was very outraged.

    The Battle of Passchendaele was also known as the Third Battle of Ypres. It lasted from July 31, 1917 to November 6, 1917. It took place in Flanders, Belgium and Passendale.
