The main reason they joined was the threat by German U boats on there trade which helped get the final argument across.

The mounted forces destroyed the supply route and brought a rapid demise to the Turkish forces.

    Germany signed an armistice on november 11th ,11am Paris time. This marked a victory for the allies and a complete defeat for the central powers. Although the amistice stopped the fighting it still took months of negotiation to come to an agreement. 2,738 men died on the last day of the war. In the summary of the whole war there were 37 million casualties (soldiers and civillians) plus the plenty others affected by the loss of parents and loved ones. The treaty was signed on a railway cart.

Germanys army was also reduced to 100,000 men and not aloud tank. Also during mid 1918 the spanish flu occured an estimated 25 million died, and this furtherd the hatred towards the Germans.
