US stays neutral

Lusitania sinks

G stops sinking US ships
Sometime earlier in the year, Germany made an annoucemenet saying that any ship heading towards Great Britain would be a target. It didn't matter if they were allies or neutral they would all be torpedo. Germany then said later that they would stop sinking American ships. -
Battle of Verdun

Influenza 1918-1919

Armistice signed

League of Nations created
The League of Nations were created to make sure that another war never happend. Since Switzerland was neutral in the war, this was their headquarters.
