World War II begins
On September 1st, 1939, Germany, under the dictatorship of Hitler and his Nazi Regime, invades Poland. This would lead to both France and Britain to declare war on Germany. Russia would join its ally Germany and invade Poland on September 17th. -
Paris Falls
After just 9 months the French Capital fell to the Germans, leaving only Britain as the Allied power left to stand against the axis powers (Germany, Russia, Italy). -
Germany attacks Russia
In an unprecedented move Germany enters Russia in attempt to overtake her, this was called Operation Barbosa. Germany would now be fighting the war on two fronts. -
Japan attacks Pearl Harbor

On September 3rd, 1943, the allies overtook Sicily forcing the Italians to surrender. -
Germany Surrenders
On May, 7th, 1945, 9 days after Hitler committed suicide, the Germans unconditionally surrendered. -
Japan Surrenders, WWII Ends
