Warsaw ( the capital of Poland) surrenders, and the Polish government is forced to leave in exile, through Romania. Germany and Russia then divided the land amongst each other.

Russia invades Finland, starting the "winter war", due to Russia's attack, Finland made an armistice, and gave some of its land to Russia since it had lost the "winter war". The land given was mainly part of the coast of Finland.
