Japan did a full on invasion of China. Using the excuse that China had fired at Japan. They went in through the already conquered Manchuria. During the invasion Chinas most important import Shanghai fell. Japan invaded China with little resistance.

Rape of Nanking
Officers allowed the Japenese to go to Naking. During that they killed thousands of people. The Japanese soldiers also raped alot of woman during the ransack. Looting also occured during this 6-week ordeal.

Operation Barbarossa
In World War 2 Germany invaded the Soviet Union. This was the biggest invasion in all of history. Hitler wanted to conquer the Soviet Union. He first conquered little territories till it was pushed back by a Soviet counter attack. The Operation Barbarossa had failed.

Pearl Harbor
This attack led to the United States officially joining the war. Japenese suprised attacked U.S army base at Pearly Harbor. Japan did this as a prevenative action. They destroyed and killed a lot of Americans. The United States the next day declared war on Japan.

Wannsee Conference
Nazi Party and German government officials met up , they called it "Final Solution of the Jewish Question." The final solution basically consisted of all the Jews dying. They hatched a plan for Hitler to try and kill all the Jews. Jews would be watche dor pt in labor camps. 11,000,000 Jews would fall under The Final Solution.

Bataan Death March
The Japanse Army was transferring Filipino and American Army men to Camp O'Donnell It was a 60 mile march that resulted in a lot of deaths. This was later considered a crime. These Filipinos and Americans were prisoners during the battle of Bataan in the Phillippines.

Warsaw Ghetto uprising
This was when the Jews stoop up for themselves, and refused to be moved. This happened in the Warsaw Ghetto, but due to lack of help they were defeated by the German soldiers. It was the largest revolt by Jews.
