    France was persistent to show Germany their dominance. Although the Franco-Prussian war lasted a short time France was headstrong and eventually built up their nationalism against Germany.

    Militarism and ego got in the way of common sense and eventually led to war. Austria and Russian set up an alliance against the Balkin region. Because of the past two Balkin wars the previous allies set up were on a thin wire bound to break. That break would explode into World War 1.

    Plain folk was used in the sense of posters with normal citizens promoting the war. A famous poster is one of two litte kids talking about having their daddy come home from war alive, but they need your help etc.

In the commandments between the animals, they vowed to never be like humans or use human things. over time the use of "hyping" the animals up about how easy their lives could be.
