WW1 begins. At this time Germany and Russia were the ones at war. America didnt join until 1917.

The U boat was first used by Germans. They were used to sink enemies ships. They were also used for transportation.

France used the poisonous gas firts. It caused alot of death. There were 4 types: chlorine, xyly, bromide, and mustard.

Germans sunk the Lusitania ship. During this fight 128 americans were killed. This was another factor for the U.S, getting involved in WW1.

Airplanes back then were very dangerous. If there was ever a life or death situation you would most likely die. The planes were very flammable and there were no parachutes. People would use them to shoot down enemies and for transportation.

These Guns were invented by Hirum Maxiru. They could fire 400-600 small rounds. Machine Guns back then were very difficult to use because they would rapidly overheat.

Tanks were invented by Henry Dixon. They would carry people over rough terrain. These tanks would give off nast fumes and it would stun German opponents.

The zimmerman telegram was a message from Germany to Mexico planning to take over the U.S. After this telegram was intercepted the U.S. got involved. This was proof to America of World domination.

At this time congress authorizes a declaration of war against Germany. They decided based on a telegraph they intercepted. They also figured out that Germany wanted world domination.

Germany and Russia make peace. This was the end of the war and all of its triumph. Soldiers happily went home and are now always honored for their service.

Rowe served with General Mcalexander. He was pronounced a Major on june 22. He was also the youngest of 5 other Majors.

Rowe decided to write a letter to one of his generals. Throughout the letter he was his describing his strugles during his time in war. He was in a lot of pain and was very homesick.

People believed colonel Rowe is the savior of Paris. With his plan he saved many lives. Paris wouldnt be here if it wasnt for him and his strategy.
