Germans forces shocked Allied soldiers along the Western Front by using 150 tons of lethal chlorine gas. Germans started activating chemical weapons. After the attack, France and Britain began developing their own chemical weapons. Many of troops were injured. People wore gas masks. -

Treaty of Versailles
World War 1 ended on June 28,1919. With the signing of the Treaty of Versailles. Germany agreed to pay reparations of the war under the Dawes Plan and the Young Plan. The two plans were cancelled in 1932. -
