  • New Stone Age (10,200 BC - 4,500-2,000 BC)

    Event 1 : Agriculture grew immensely with the Neolithic Revolution .
    Event 2 : Stone tools developed here .
    Event 3 : Shelters also developed during this time period.

  • Sumeria (5000 BC - 1700 BC)

    Event 1 : Ubaid period of Sumerian history saw very high quality pottery. Event 2 : Uruk period of Sumerian History saw theocracy take hold, and ended with the Piora oscillation. Event 3 : Sumer taken over by Amorites.

  • Ancient Egypt (3150 BC - 332 BC)

    Event 1 : The Giza Pyramids and Great Sphinx come into existence as some of the great mechanical achievements of the world. Event 2 : Akhenaten becomes pharoah and promotes an obscure god, creating heresy and the Amarna period. Event 3 : Alexander the Great conquers Egypt.

  • Indus River Valley (3300 BC - 1300 BC)

    Event 1 : Metallurgy flourished, with techniques for bronze, copper, and lead being found. Event 2 : Climate change leads to the decline of the Indus River Valley. Event 3 : The Indus River Valley leads India into the Iron Age.

  • Shang Dynasty (1600 BC – 1046 BC)

    Event 1 : Improved techniques lead to advancement of Bronze
    Event 2 : Tang overthrows Xia in the Battle of Mingtiao Wu of Zhou causes the last Shang king to commit suicide, Zhou dynasty ensues.

  • Zhou Dynasty (1045 BC–256 BC)

    Event 1 : Iron introduced
    Event 2 : Zhou split into two parts
    Event 3 : Qin takes the Zhou controlled capital.

  • Qin Dynasty (221 BC–206 BC)

    Event 1 : Wars of unification between the Yan, Zhao, Qi, Han, Chu, Wei, and Qin
    Event 2 : Three assassination attempts on Emperor Qin Shihuang’s life
    Event 3 : The puppet Emperor Qin Er Shi and puppeteer Zhao Gao bring an end to the dynasty.

  • Age of Pericles (480 BC-404 BC)

    Event 1 : Ephialtes is assassinated, Pericles steps in to take control. Event 2 : The Delian League grows more discontent, due to mismanaged foreign policy. Event 3 : The Age of Pericles ends when Pericles dies in 404 BC.

  • Han Dynasty (206 BC – 220 AD)

    Event 1 : Gaozu of Han defeats Xiang Yu at the battle of Gaixia, becomes emperor, moves capital to Chang’an
    Event 2 : The Liang Province rebellion started the downfall of the Han Dynasty.
    Event 3 : The Liang Province rebellion ends with China splitting up into three kingdoms; Wei, Shu, Wu

  • Roman Civilization (753 BC – AD 1453)

    Event 1 : Founding of Rome
    Event 2 : Overthrowing of the Roman Kingdom, creation of the Roman Republic
    Event 3 : Great Fire of Rome

  • Renaissance (14th Century to 16th Century)

    Event 1 : Humanistic thinking develops. Event 2 : Art sees a much larger focus, due to lots of money. Event 3 : Advances in Architecture sees the Sistine Chapel and other marvels built.

  • Middle Ages (476 AD - 1500 AD)

    Event 1 : Christianity becomes a massive religion. Event 2 : Multiple crusades happen. Event 3 : The Black Plague devastates the whole of Europe.

  • Aztecs and Incas (Aztecs : 1248 AD - 1581) (Incans : 1438AD-1533AD)

    Aztec Event 1 : Settlement of Chapultepec Aztec Event 2 : Moctezuma 1 reigns in 1440 Aztec Event 3 : Monkeypox decimates the population, allowing the Spanish to easily conquer. Inca Event 1 : Four brothers and four sisters reach a place called Cusco. Inca Event 2 ; Civil war occurs over the throne. Inca Event 3 : Pizarro comes and conquers the Incans.

  • Reformation (1517 AD to 1648 AD)

    Event 1 : Martin Luther's Ninety-Five Theses kickstarts a schism of Christianity. Event 2 : Counter-Reformation formed by Council of Trent. Event 3 ; Thirty Years' War happens.

  • Age of Enlightenment (1650 AD to 1850 AD)

    Event 1 : Sir Isaac Newton's laws of motions Event 2 : Education takes a forefront. Event 3 : Religion starts to weaken to more humanistic thinking.
