The first Blu-ray disks came out June 20, 2006. Samsung launched the first Blu-ray BDP-1000 that cost a pretty penny, $1000. This allowed us to watch HD movies at home. You can get a blu-ray player for less than $100 today. The are also more advanced, able to stream apps.

Wii was released November 19, 2006. This was the first games system to use motion sensors in their controllers. It cost $249.99. Today the Nintendo Wii sells for around $50.

The original iPhone was available to the public June 29, 2007. Costing $499 (4GB) and $599 (8GB), this phone wasn't an ordinary phone, but more like a handheld computer. The device included a 2-megapixel camera, 3.5-inch 320 x 480 LCD screen. Steve Jobs was one of iPhones original inventors.
