    The Cattle Kingdom is significant because it created the cowboy. Also millions of cattle were shipped across the US. Also it created barbed wire which invented the modern day fence.

    The Transcontinental is significant because it stretched from the west to the east. This made the US wealthy and made it easier for supplies to be transported.

    The Chivington Massacre is significant because Colonel Chivington massacred the indians who were trying to surrender. This is significant because it was wrong and horrible.

    This is talked about even today because it ended the cowboys way of life. This the first invention of the moderen day fense. This ended the cattle kingdom because it blocked off the trails that the cowboys used to gide the cows.

    We speak of the Oklahoma Land Rush today because it was a major part of our past. Never before were people allowed to race for land and get it for free. It is also known because people are still debating if it was a good thing or bad thing.

    This battle is being talked about because it was a battle started by an accident when a bullet was fired. This simple accident killed 300 indians who were surrenduring and 25 American soldiers.
