Operation Rolling Thunder was an airwar, and was successful, The United States was targeting the Ho Chi Minh Trail. They were targeting the Trail because they were trying to get rid of the communist supply lines. -

The Tet Offensive was a couple different battles between Vietcong, and the Peoples Army of Vietnam against the United States and Republic of Vietnam. The battles were against the military, and civilian command in South Vietnam. The battle was to get rid of the communist guerillas. This made alot of Americans go against the war more than they already were. -
The Draft
The draft was also known as a Seledctive Service Act. It was usually between the ages of 18-26. Alot of people found different ways of getting out of the military. The days of the year were written and put into a glass jar. Depending on when your number was drawn, it depended on if you went to war or not. -
Pentagon Papers
The Pentagon Papers was a seven thousand page documnets about Vietnam. The papers was about the United States going to Vietnam, and that they never had a plan to end the war. The papers came out in 1971. It was published in New York Times. -
Operation Linebacker
Operation Linebacker was to bomb all of the railroads and power plants.The bombing was in Hanoi. It was the biggest bombing that the United Stated has done. This is the first time that Hanoi is ever bombed. The bombing made it so Hanoi made peace, -

President Nixon said "Peace with Honor" in his speech, that was explaining the Paris Peace Accord.
