    France assumed control over the whole of Vietnam after the Tonkin Campaign. this was the sencond time another country tried obtaining control of veitnam.
  • japan's control

    The french were controling vietnam but their forces were depleting fast so they had the japanese step in and aid them giving them control of Vietnam. the vietnamese did not feel anymore comfotable trading colonial masters.
