    once again cannot find the date!!! :( so women got the right to vote in utah for a couple reasons one of them being, that people thought that women in utah were oppresed (because of polygamy) so utah deciced to show them that they were not

    Yet another date i could not find. (Sorry) The Edmunds-Tucker Act Was forching utahns to not do polygamy, if they did then they would have to spend a 500 doller fine and stay in jail for 5 days.

    State hood at last, it happened on January 4, 1896. Even though it was freezing cold outside people still cebrated in the streets! Even some people shot guns, blew up stuff with dinamite! It is very clear that many people were very happy about that! :)
