    The day the Constitution was ratified. The Constitution became the official framework of the government of the United States

  • Slavery Code

    The laws enforced regarding slavery and slave trade. They were state laws established for slave owners.

  • The War of 1812

    This war lasted June 18, 1812 through February 18, 1815. This war was fought between the United States against Great Britain.

  • The Civil War

    The Civil War lasted April 12, 1861 through April 9, 1865. This was fought between the Northern and the Southern states of the United States.
