Warship stopped
The Brittish warship the Leopard was stopped by the american ship the Chesapeake. The Leopard open fired at the American ship crippleing the ship and killing a few crew members.(280) -
The Clermont
The first steam boat lanched from NYC to Albany. with only sails the trip would have taken 4 days. (304) -
The Embargo Act
This act stopped all trade with foreign countries. It was ment to target the Brittish. (281) -
The War of 1812
They decleared war on June 18th, but starting fighting in July. This war was fought in the years of 1812-1814. From June 18th to December 24,1814. It cahnged nothing in our ways. (285 & 288) -
Battle of Horseshoe Bend
On March 27, 1814 Andrew Jackson led troops to atack in the Battle of Horseshoe Bend. More than 550 Horseshoe Bend people dided. The battle ended in March 1814 (286) -

This was the last major Batle of the War of 1812. Fought between Brittish and Americans. Ended on Jan. 18th (267) -
