Connor has already found out he was being unwound by finding the contract, but he decides to try and run away to avoid being unwound. -
Connor runs away and gets picked up by a truck driver to be dropped off at a farther place to escape his town -
Connor finds Lev in his parents car, looking scared. WHile Connor is running from the police, he decides to grab Lev out of the car and carry him with him while he escapes. -
Risa is on a bus on its way to the place where children get unwound, but crashes on it's way, because Connor and Lev are running in front and the bus driver swerves to miss them. -
The unwinds escape their scenarios and actually get to meet each other by running into the woods, making a plan to try to survive until their eighteen to avoid being unwound. -
The unwinds find a storked baby on a doorstep and decide to take it in. -
They stumble upon the antique shop where Sonia shows them the bunker/cellar under a rug she was hiding, to help unwinds from being caught by the police and survive to the age of 18. -
The Unwinds are in a scenario where they could possibly be caught by the police, so Risa comes up with the idea to start clapping as if they were clappers, to make a distraction and drive everyone away. -
All the kids in the warehouse are packed into crates, 4 to each crate, and are being prepared to be shipped off to a place called the graveyard. -
After being shipped from the warehouse in crates, they arrive at where they were being shipped to, the graveyard. Here they are supposed to be safe and be bale to survive until they turn eighteen. -
When the clappers blow up the chop shop with Connor in it, he gets greatly injured, losing an eye and getting his arm crushed and Risa was on the roof of the building, so she falls from the roof. -
Random people at the graveyard start mysteriously dying, mainly the goldens, and connor wants to find out why. He investigates but ends up accusing the wrong person -
The admiral, the person who runs the graveyard, has a heart attck and connor and risa have to risk being caught and go in public to save him. Someone turns them in and they are sent to harvest camp. -
Two clappers, Mai and Blaine, decide to blow up the chop shop, but as they do that Connor is going in to get unwound. The building blows up with him in it and it takes his eye and crushes his arm. -
Risa chooses to stay paralyzed. Instead of getting her spine fixed, she chooses not the get it fixed since a disabled person can't be unwound.
