These articles were later proven false, but the anger in the white men grew. This led to hundreds of white riders arriving in Atlanta with the mindset that they were going to kill the blacks. The end result left twenty five dead and more than a hundred injured.

White Primary is abolished in GA
This started with the man that people might have forgotten about Primus E.King. He was a man who had a dream to end the white primaries in Georgia. He ended up succsesful, but it did not just fall in his lap. He filed a class action lawsuit against the Government stating that not allowing blacks to participate as a leader was wrong. Well the Democratic Party didn't like this so they brought outthe big guns. The brought Joeseph E. Chapman. He was the Chairman of this party at the time

  • 1956 change to Georgias state flag part 2

1956 change to Georgias state flag part 2
This was that the soldiers and our belifes were to be honored witht the flying of the flag. This didn't only settle down the state, but it also helped ease the pane of the blacks because they felt a little better because the whites have the right to think what ever they want. Al though all of this is going on it didn't change the thought that it was a bad idea for it to be put on the state flag, but in the end it was added and we all seemed to get over it after a while.

Change to Georgia's state flag part 1
The change of Georgias state flag cause alot of contravercy and quite a bit of kerfluffle in the GA political system. The cause for all of this kerfluffle was that the flag had the stars and bars that took up two thirds of the space on the flag. This cause so much trouble that the idea of the stars and bars on the flag was some crazy reason that would make everyone think better of the design. continued above...

The African American students that went to Georgia were two girls with the names of Hamilton holmes and Charlayne Hunter. This caused a big mess that the Georgia legislators wanted to clean up. the simple way that they thought that they could fix it was to stop the funding from coming into the schools that allowed blacks to join their schools.

The freedom rides were the groups of desegregation supporters that hopped on a bus that started in the north and would eventually end up in alabama. The finshed result was not so pretty, but the way that the protesters went about their business was unlike anyother. It all starts off when a small group off protesters get to gether and hatch an idea that would shake the US.

This was probably the deepest point in the fight against segregation. The main reasons for this is that the protest were violent and deadly. Thr protesters were not only threatend but sent to the hospital for speaking their mind and speaking the truth. The scariest part of all this is that the protesters were not armed while they were being sprayed down with fire hoses.

Not because of the the bombing but because of the four that it left for dead in that church. The worst of it all the court system and the authorities did nothing to convict only one of the bombers until 1977. This was probably seen as a day of greatness and superiority for the whites.

The reasons for the killing is that Lee Harvey Oswald didn't like what JFK stood for and believed that hewas better off dead than alive. All in all the parade was a failure and the people close to the president had to wait ten months for the conviction.
