French and Britain fighting over Ohio River Valley.
-
The Proclamation of 1763 was a British made a boundary marked in the Appalachian Mountains at the Eastern Continental Divide.
I think this is the first major turning point because this is where the colonist and Britain's relationship starts to go down hill.
This is because the Proclamation made colonist upset. And after the proclamation everything just starts to worsen because the king passes more acts and laws. -
The sugar act is when king George the third put taxes on sugar.
This meant it was hard for colonist to make profit off of things like rum. -
This act meant that colonist had to pay extra fees for stamps that would go on paper. The stamps where meant to officialize papers and other tings like a deck of cards.
-
The Boston massacre was when British troops killed 8 colonist.
This made Boston very upset and frightened. -
The tea Act was when the colonist got taxed on Tea.
-
In response to the tea act the sons of liberty dumped tea into harbor.
-
These where laws made to punish for the Boston tea party.
It included bringing back the quartering act. -
This was the first battle and it was known as the shot heard around the world.
-
This is when the colonist tried to compromise with the king by a petition. Sadly it was deigned.
