    An earthquake produced tsunami that crossed over the Atlantic Ocean. There was an estimation of 20,000 people that were killed. The earthquakae had a magnitude of 9 which casued waves to get as high as 23 feet.
  • Krakatoa Tsunami

    Krakatoa Tsunami
    After the collapse of the Krakatoa volcano, the sudden collapse of teh top of teh volcano triggered a deadly tsunami. Between Java and Sumatra, the tsnuami had waves of up to 115 feet high. More than 36,000 people were killed and 165 villages were completeley destroyed.
