    Wedding of King Pelius and Thetis

    The only god uninvited to this wedding was the Goddess of discord, Eris. She attended and threw a golden apple that said "for the fairest" into the crowd. Aphrodite, Athena, an de Hera all fought for the apple but Zeus did not choose between them.

    Judgement of Paris

    A contest between the three goddesses. They each gave Paris (who Zeus had commanded to choose between them as the fairest) gifts to impact his choice. He chose Aphrodite after being promised the most beautiful woman, Helen, as a wife.

    Paris abducts Helen

    The prince of Troy, Paris, fell in love with Helen and abducted her despite her being married to Menelaus, the King of Sparta. This led to the Trojan war.

    Odysseus and Achillies avoid the army

    Odysseus put on torn clothing and tried plowing the fields with a goat and an ox to seem crazy. Achillies mother dressed him as a woman. They were both discovered and exposed.

    One of the most important events of Greek mythology. Iliad, the epic poem written by Homer, is the best narrations of this event.

    The gods take sides

    This affected the outcomes of the battles. Zeus took the Trojan's side and influenced Agamemnon through a dream into thinking that if he attacked he would win. Poseidon disobeyed Zeus' orders and urged the Greeks to lust for victory.

    Trojan horses is planned

    Odysseus created a plan to beat the Trojans. They were to build a huge wooden horse, hide inside of it, and have it delivered to the city of Troy.

    Greeks come out of the horse

    The plan was taken into effect. They left the horse at the entrance of the city and pretended to leave, as If defeated. The Trojans then took the wooden horse to display it in the city as a sign of victory. That night while the Trojan people were asleep the Greeks opened the gates for the rest of the army and they all entered the city of Troy.

    The Greeks defeated the Trojans after entering the city and that was the end of the war.
