    Men landed on an island with Lotus flowers making them forget what there mission was. Forcing Odysseus to force the men back onto the ships.

    The cyclops

    The Cyclops island is discovered by Odysseus but is not as hospitable as he wanted. He was captured by Polyphemus and was going to be eaten. He got him drunk and poked out his eye and escaped.

    Aeolus gives Odysseus a bag of wind in his favor to blow him back home but can only be opened at the right time

    They find a tribe of cannibals that eat some of Odysseus' men and burn 11 of the 12 ships

    Scylla and Charybdis are sea creatures one a multi headed dog and the other a whirlpool.

    Helios and the other Charybdis

    Helios Punishes Odysseus for eating his cattle by holing his breath so the wind no longer blows, then they run into Charybdis and there final ship is destroyed

    Calypso keeps Odysseus hostage for 7 years in her palace lured him in there with her singing and he slept in the same bed together.

    Phaikans help him home to Ithica after finding him washed ashore.

    The suitors

    After Odysseus returns home he finds its been taken over by suitors of his wife and disguises himself until he can prove himself then kills all of the suitors with his son Telemachos
