Eris was the only goddess uninvited. She took an apple that said 'for the fairest" and threw it into the wedding. Aphrodite, Hera, and Athena all wanted the apple. But Zeus would not pick between them.

Since Zeus would not decide, Paris who is the Prince of Troy is told to choose the fairest. He picks Aphrodite because she promises him to have the most beautiful woman in the world.

Paris, the prince of Troy goes to meet with King Menelaus of Sparta with his wife.

King Menelaus leaves and goes to Crete. However, while he is away, Paris steals Helen, who is very beautiful and brings her back to Troy.

King Menelaus asks all of Greece for help in finding Helen. However, Achilles and Oddyseus avoid at all costs. Both look for ways out, but are caught.

The war begins as King Menelaus continues to look for Helen.

Chryseis is taken, and goes back to the Greek Agamemnon.

Apollo attacks the Greeks and Achilles asks for Chryesis back from Agamemnon.

Agamemnon is mad that he was asked about Chryesis and steals Achilles' maiden.

He leaves the Greeks after he learns of Agamemnon stealing his maiden.

Zeus sides with the Triojans and sends a dream to Agamemnon saying that he would win the war if he attacked, which was a lie.

He fights Paris and defeats him, but Aphrodite saves him.

The Trojan Hector begins to fight and starts to destroy the Greeks.

Hector kills Patroclus who is Achilles' friend.

Achilles is mad about Patroclus' death and fights Hector, killing him.

After driving the Trojans back all the way to Troy, Achilles dies in battle.

Oddyseus comes up with the idea of making a giant wooden horse. He hides in it during battle.

The Greeks invade Troy at night and let the army out.

The Trojans were not ready for the attack, and were taken by surprise.

The war ends when the Greeks destroy the city of Troy.
