The Setting
The place where some of the main characters live is the Bahala dumpsite, while others live in the town or are just homeless families. -
Rising Action #1 or Conflict
Raphael finds a bag one day that has a wallet, a key, and a picture of a little girl inside of it while picking though the trash. -
The Background
Raphael, Gardo, Rat, and Gardo and Raphael`s family have been living in piles of trash all of there lives. They have been able to pick through trash after they could barely walk, and the only education they have is the missionary school that was built in Bahala. -
The Characters
Raphael is a very kind 14 year old boy, Gardo is Raphael`s best friend who is very qiet, Rat (Jun-Jun) has lived with no family for as long as he could remember, and Raphael`s aunt who takes care of him and two of her own children. -

The whole Freytag`s Pyramid of the story with the exposition, the rising action, the climax, the falling action, and the resolution. -
Rising Action #2
The police come to the dumpsite a day after Raphael finds the bag and offer money for people to help search for a bag that was thrown away. There was a special reward for the person and there family if they found the certain bag. -
Rising Action #3
After two days of searching, Raphael`s aunt says that he had found something. Raphael then had to lie, and the police got suspicious of him. -
Rising Action #4
Raphael gave Rat the wallet to hide from the police because the police don`t know about Rat and how he lives underground with actual rats. -
Rising Action #5
During the night, the police come into the Bahala dump and forcefully take Raphael away from his home to interrigate him on the missing bag. -
Rising Action #6
Rat tells Raphael and Gardo where the key belongs to for a price that they can barely afford because he used to live in the train station where the keys home is a locker. -
Rising Action #8
The boys wander around, looking for the locker number (103), acting like they don`t know eachother after they jump off of the train at the station. -
The Climax
When the boys find the locker, Rat opens it and they find a sectret letter from Jose Angellico. It says that he was probably dead by then. Also, there was a strange set of numbers at the very end of the note. -
Falling Action #2
Gardo tricks Sister Olivia into taking him to go to Colva Prison and see Gabriel Olondriz, Jose Angellico`s grandfather. Gardo learns that the strange in the note are a code that is dicifened in a bible that Olondriz is giving to a guard that is to sell it to Gardo. -
Falling Action #1
Raphael and Rat go to senator Zapanta`s mansion because that is where Jose used to work. Then the two boys learn that Jose Angellico stole six million dollars from the senator. -
Falling Action #3
The boys run away from the dump using Rat`s life savings to live in a little shack all by themselves while waiting for the gaurd with the bible. -
Falling Action #4
After studdying the guards shifts for weeks, Gardo meets with the guard in a tea shop to figure out that it`s a trap. They barely escape from the mob of polic officers and dicifer the code in the note before the police try to trap them in the boys home. -
Resolution #1
The boys discover the missing six million dollars inside of a fake casket. Also, the boys find Mia Angellico who everyone thought was dead. -
Falling Action #4
On the "Day of the Dead" the boys, using some of their last money, get a taxi to drive them to the cemetery where Jose Angellico`s family was buried. -
Resolution #2
The boys pay back Father Juliard and Sister Olivia is forcefully taken back to England, while the boys waste almost all of the money giving it back to the people who deserved it. -
Resolution #3
Raphael, Gardo, Rat, and Miarun away to a paradise island using the rest of their money to live on the beach, while fishing every day. There is no fret at all.
