    Christopher Cockerell
    Christopher Cockerell was born on the 4th of June of 1910 and he died on the 1st of June of 1999. He lived in Cambridge (England).
    In 1959-1961 he invented the hovercraft (with the first public demostration in 1959). He invented that becouse it ocurred to him that if the entire boat were lifted out of the water the boat would effectively have no drag.
