    Nathaniel Bacon a wealthy aristocrat bottled a lot of grievances that made him a leader for the indentured servants, propertyless, and unemployed or known as rebels. The Rebels rebelled in 1676 then in 1677. The result of the rebellion made indentured servants less wanted and slavery a more efficient, which led to an increase in slave purchased by the mid-1690's. This led to the civil war by making slavery a major cause of fighting in the civil war.

    The Compromise of 1850 was dealing with the land we gained after the Mexican-American war (1846-1848). The quarrel was about whether California should be admitted as a free state or slave state. In the end, Henry Clay came up with a solution, which was for California to be a free state and for there to be more effective fugitive slave laws. This didn't completely satisfy all parties. This lead to the civil war by the other land that was gained from Mexico is still unclear what side they are.

This was a cause to the civil war for representation and taxation.

So they can act upon the injustice of slavery. Since Kansas and Nebraska were territories could decide to be either free or slave state depending on popular vote. Abolitionist started moving to Kansas with guns and killed people who were in favor of slavery. Giving Kansas a gruesome nickname "Bleeding Kansas" a factor of the civil war.

    The underground railroad was a stepping stone that led to the civil war. The underground railroad was a system made up of abolitionists and allies who had sympathy for their cause. The system caused anger towards people who helped slaves escape. Causing a huge resentment from the southerners towards the abolitionist adding to a reason of why the civil war was fought.

The election was a major reason for the civil, war since the southerners felt it was unjust.
