Balfour Declaration
it's a letter from James Balfour that declares Palestine as the national home land for the Jewish poeple. and stating that there should be no descrimanation whatsoever between the civilar and religous rights for both Palestines and Jews.
it's important because without this declaration, the Jews won't start emgrating and won't take Palestine as their home so it might have stayed for the Palestinians. -
Paris Peace Conference
a meeting after WWI to make some treaties about the division of some areas between the Great Powers.
It ended with giving some territories to them and the creation of the League of Nations.
It's important because it gave the power to some countries that took desicions that are related to the world and the league of nations gave solutions to some areas like Palestine that shaped the world now. -
The rise of Ikhwan
a group of muslim people in Eygpt, Jordan and Syria, and were aiming to have justice and freedom.
It's important because now this group of people are causing a lot of arguments and conflicts. -
British Mandate for Palestine
a legal document that give the British the admistration and the mandate of Palestine after they defeated the Ottoman Empire. It was formed in Article 22 that shows the power of the British over Palestine.
This is important because it gave the British the right to decide to whom Palestine should go, and their choices effected all the events afterwards. -

Adolf Hitler who was the leader of this event led the Nazi Party caused the destruction of around 5000 jewish communities, and the death of 6000000 jews.
this is important because it was an excuse to the immegration of many jews to Palestine. -

when some Zionist attacked a Palestinian village that has around 600 people.
It's important because it led to the death and the immegration of many Palestinians. -
Six Days War
A war betweeen Isreal and (Eygpt, Syria and Jordan), and it lasted six days for Isreal to win the Gaza Strip, the Sinai Peninsula, the West Bank and East Jerusalem, and the Golan Heights.
It's important because we lost all these places and we are trying to get them back today and all the poeple who left their home are hoping to go back -
October War
A war between Egypt (with the allying of Jordan and Syria) against Israel on Yom Kapor. and ended with Isreal having the west bank and the Suez Canal.
It's imoprtant because the Arabs lost many terriotries for Israel and helped creating the Isrealli state. -
Invasion of Kuawit
A war between Iraq and Kuawit, over the pertroleum that was in Iraq.
it's important because it caused the division between Iraq and Kuawit.
