For one of my items I chose a soccer ball. I chose this because Baba always wanted Amir to play but he never ended up playing soccer. (I wasn't sure what to put for the year because it says it's required but this was in the book)

For my next item I chose Hassans slingshot. This was used a few times in the book. Its first appearance occurred when Amir talks about flinging walnuts at a German Shepherd. It also appears when Amir and Hassan encounter Assef and he needs to defend the two of them.
