Children usually wore dresses were above the knee for toddlers and below the knee for big girls. Boys clothes were mostly casual striped knit shirt with shorts or pants.

Dandy was colored in bright show horse attire, strong enough to hold up to 150 pounds, and also had a string for kids to pull.
