  • Aug 3, 1492

    Columbus discovers Americ

    Clombus and a group of people and ships set on a voyage and accidentally discovered America
  • 13 Origial colonies

    The first colonies that started the US. Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Georgia, Connecticut, Massachusetts Bay, Maryland, South Carolina, New Hampshire, Virginia, New York, North Carolina, and Rhode Island and Providence Plantations.
  • French and Indian war

    The war was between the coloonies of British America and new France. The war lasted seven years (1754-1763).
  • Industrial Revolution

    A transition to new manufacturing processes between 1760 and 1820. Changing methods from hand to machine, to steam power, and improved water efficency this is when products started being produced at a faster and wanted rate.
  • Boston Tea party

    Was a protest on the tea act. In the event people aboarded a ship dressed as native americans and trew crates of the tea into Boston Harbor.
  • Revolutionary War

    Lasting eight years (1775-1783) this war took the power and crontrol of Great Britin over the 13 colonies away. This war ended in a the Treaty of Paris.
  • Writing of the Constitution

    The writing occured during the Philadelphia Convention in 1787. The original Constitution was ammended 27 times.
  • Lewis and Clark

    An expedition to find routes across the western half of the continent and to map and log any plants, animals, and the geography on the way while establishing trade with local Indian tribes. A 16 year old Native by the name of Sacagawea and her new born baby accompinied them along the way for translation and information of the land, plants, and animals.
  • Missouri Comprise

    Was passed in 1820 in the United States Congress submitted by Henry Clay, giving regulation on slavery in the western territories.
  • Bleeding Kansas

    Series of acts of violence between por and anti slavery groups. Taking place in Kansas and neighbooring towns to Missoury it lasted from 1854-1861.
