Chryses asks Agamemnon for his daughter back and Agamemnon refuses. Chryses prays to Apollo for assistance and Apollo curses the Greek army with a plague. Agamemnon gives Chryses his daughter.

Agamemnon takes Achilles' concubine since he had to return his. Achilles becomes angry and refuses to fight. The Greeks suffer many losses during this time.

Achilles' friend Patroclus was killed by Hector in battle and Achilles, enraged, begins fighting again and kills Hector.

Paris' poisonous arrow strikes Achilles and he dies. Philoctetes then kills Paris in battle.

The Greeks feigned surrender then send a hollow, wooden horse in name of their surrender. They hide inside and while the Trojans celebrate, they raid the place and massacre everyone.

Troy falls in defeat and the Trojan War ends.
